Kuban State Medical University

Kuban State Medical University is one of the oldest medical schools in Russia. It is located in Krasnodar, the capital of Krasnodar Krai in South Russia. Kuban State Medical University was founded in 1920, and to this day is one of the oldest universities of the Kuban and leading medical universities in Russia.

The structure of the Kuban State Medical University on the rights of structural units includes:

•   7 faculties (medical, pediatric, dental, medico-prophylactic, pharmaceutical, faculty of pre-university training and faculty of professional development and professional retraining of specialists);
•   66 departments;
•   Basic obstetrics and gynecology clinic;
•   Dental clinic;

The founder of the University is the Government of the Russian Federation. The powers of the Founder are exercised by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation

In December 2016, based on the decision of the Accreditation Board of the Federal Service for Supervision in Education and Science, the Kuban State Medical University is accredited for 5 years with the establishment of a state status as an "educational institution of higher education" of the "University" type.
